All Abilities Rock Band

Join us for a one-of-a-kind Band!

Help your tween or teen discover the joy of making music with their peers. Our All Abilities Rock Band is specially designed to make music accessible to individuals of ALL abilities and learning styles. We can’t wait to have you join us!

Cost

$160/month will cover weekly 45 minute practices.

Reserve your spot by signing up now. First month payment is collected at registration then you will be billed at the start of each month.

You can cancel at any time, but we do encourage members to commit to at least 3 months to help maintain group consistency.

Time & Location

We meet at our Sandy clinic on Tuesdays from 4:45-5:35 in Sandy.

Focus

Our primary aim is to help band members have successful musical experiences each week, and to help them find their voice through music.

Our band will have a minimum of 3 (and maximum of 5) members, each learning on an instrument of choice.

What happens in the All Abilities Rock Band?

Our All Abilities Rock Band allows kids & teens of all abilities to discover the joy of making music with other people! We meet once a week for 50 minutes with the band, and focus on the following:

• Help all participants learn basic skills on piano, guitar, drums, percussion and vocals (each member will choose a primary instrument after being introduce to each)
• Explore how adapt each instrument to meet the learning style of each participant
• Gain understanding of basic music skills such as rhythm, melody, and harmony
• Learn how to play, listen, and engage with group members as a musical group
• Learn and play songs in a variety of preferred styles and genres
• Write songs as a group
• Prepare songs for recording and/or community performance

 Our primary aim is to have successful musical experiences each week, and to help each band member find their voice and passion through music!
